I have often wondered why many people blog. Is it because they feel the need to share? Is it because they want their opinion to matter? Is it because they need an outlet? For me its because my poor husband doesn't need to hear all my random thoughts. He works all day and when he is home the last thing he needs to listen to is my thoughts on Ellen, the Octomom or the latest trade rumors of today's high-profile athletes.

I decided to start this blog because there are many thoughts that run through my mind regarding today's society throughout each day; thoughts that I want to share, but have limited outlets between 8 AM and 6 PM each day. Being home with two young children everyday limits your adult conversation time. My blog is my way of having adult time. I figure if Rush Limbaugh can be on the radio and Dr. Phil has his own show then I can have my blog.
